My complaint has always been I can't look out my window without seeing billboards. But how about not being able to look out your window because of a billboard! Yes, it gets this crazy. The person who lives here has a little "Jah Love" sticker on their window. Why can't we see that on the billboard? In fact, I think billboards would be great if the people who had to look at them could decide what to put up. Now that would be free speech. And if you hear a billboard lobbyist hiding behind "free speech"--- courts have ruled that advertising is commerce, not "free" speech but "paid for" $peech. Billboards can be eliminated, and they've done so in Vermont, Maine, Alaska, and Hawaii!
